what is samfind?
samfind is a convenient way to access the websites that you use. you choose the topics and the websites within them and use samfind as your homepage or as a widget on your your homepage system. why should you use samfind?

how does it work?
visiting websites
- from samfind's homepage, you can visit websites in two different ways, by clicking on a website's name or by typing a search query and then clicking on the website's name.

- you may need to allow pop-ups for samfind to work. don't worry about pop-up ads - they are really annoying so we will never use them.

Are you using samfind in a tabbed browser like Firefox or Internet Explorer 7?

customizing samfind
- you can choose which topics and websites are on samfind by clicking on the top right of the homepage.

- when you are customizing, on the left are Available Topics and on the right are Your Topics with some topics and websites already selected to start you off.

- you can or Topics to make samfind useful to you and in Your Topics to select the websites you would like to use.
- you can also or to add topics and websites that are not on samfind.
- you can change the order of topics or websites on the homepage by clicking your mouse on a topic or website name and holding the mouse button down while dragging and dropping the topic or website to the order you would like it to be on your homepage. this is useful to keep the topics and websites you use most first.

give it a try!
- once you have samfind all set up, give it a try for a little while and see if it makes you more productive. you can register by clicking . this way you will be able to use your customized samfind on any computer and on any homepage system. while you are registering, you can follow the directions to make samfind your homepage or use it as a widget.

- now go back to the homepage and give it a whirl.
